Many years ago a beautiful woman appeared to the Native People. She gave them a sacred pipe and taught them how to use it to pray. Before she left them she told them that one day she would return. As she walked away she turned into a white buffalo.

Many Native People believe that with the birth of the white buffalo "Miracle" the legend has been fulfilled bringing the long awaited prophecy and the arrival of a new era of reconciliation among races and respect for the earth.

I pray that man does wake up and think about the future for as Joseph Chasing Horse said "We haven't just inherited this earth from our ancestors, but we are borrowing it from our unborn children."
